Czech Aviation Training Centre Conference 2025
The largest event organised by Women in Aviation to date. The conference was attended by over 130 people.
Participants of the conference at CATC also tried out emergency evacuation drills from the aircraft.
The conference included a tour of the CATC facilities, as well as lectures and presentations from many experienced managers within domestic aerospace companies.
Dozens of interested persons "flew" with long-time pilot Hana Babčanová during the April conference and tried their hand at flying ATR aircraft in a real simulator for pilots.
Thanks to Aircraft Industries, a. s., for inviting us to the place where the legendary L-410 is built.
The meeting of Women in Aviation in Kunovice was attended by almost thirty representatives of Czech aviation.
Air Museum in Kunovice with a tour of dozens of historical machines including the Tu-154 M called Nagano Express.
Jan Klas, Director of Air Navigation Services of the Czech Republic, also supported the establishment of the Women in Aviation Association. We would like to thank Alice Justina Undus for the invitation to Karlovy Vary Airport.
In addition to the background of Karlovy Vary Airport, the representatives of Czech aviation were also introduced to its development goals.

The last Women in aviation event, of 2024, was held at the start of December in the Czech Airlines Technics company.
We are grateful for the warm welcome and the organisation of the event, which was provided by Zuzana Janatová, the Czech Airlines Technics HR director.
Approximately 50 women working in aviation were present .
An inspiring presentation by the Czech Airlines Technics chairman, Mr. Petr Doberský, was also inlcluded.
The Czech aviation representatives were toured by the experienced technicians, who explained, how the aircraft maintenance works.
A walk through the vast hangar F, capable of fitting 6 medium airplanes at once, was, yet again, a wonderful experience.
